In late 2022, l became aware that Chevrolet had committed to building the final line of COPO Camaros. After a qualifying interview, l was notified that l had the privilege of ordering one. To stay consistent with the history of the COPO, only sixty-nine would be produced, and three engine choices would be offered due to the uncertain availability of the 632ci 1004 hp Big Block. Sixty-one cars were built with that engine, and only thirty-one cars were produced with the vivid orange collector paint package. The car, a 30,000-dollar option, has hand-painted graphics and an unbelievable finish that added 200 labor hours to these special cars. All are sold on bill of sale and are untitled due to their non-street-legal status. The reason for this status is that, except for the bodies, the cars are all hand-fabricated and built using the very best racing components available. This includes hand-built engines signed by the builder. Each car was numbered, with this being #23 as indicated by the 023 serial number displayed on the VIN plate. This true piece of automotive art is being made available by the owner for the first time and represents one of the rarest vehicles produced in recent years. Included are extensive documentation, such as manuals and information concerning all components, along with a task-by-task sign-off sheet that identifies each step of the build, when it was done, and by whom. This car is not cheap, but it is hard to assign a cost to something priceless. No Title
